Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film, TV and stage since the late 1970s. Thespian Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been working professionally over the last 27 years. Her stage debut came in the year 1990 when she appeared on Broadway with an Off-Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. As a character in The Perfect Tribute, she had her debut TV role the following year. Her breakthrough in her career came about in 1992 when she acted as a support character in Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she made her debut as a female actor alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she worked with some of the top stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. She recently played Dr. Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.
