Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedy actress and TV host is best known for her time as hostess of Dinner and a Movie. In addition, she has been a vocal advocate on environmental issues and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times best-selling writer, actress and critic for her autobiography Wherever you go There They Are I see you made an effort. Then you say Tomato. I'm saying Shutup, and I Fired. The showtime comedy special was also created by Annabelle Gulwitch. Gurwitch has served as a frequent host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. Her memorable television appearances include Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown in addition to as her hosting of WA$TED, a sustainability show which airs on The Planet Green Network. Her regular TV appearances are on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher or NPR. She also writes op eds which can be found in New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satires for The New Yorker & McSweeneys. The New York Times has acknowledged her as a stage actor and has included her on its annual list of critics' Top Ten Performances.
