Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his distinct blend of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway through The Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine is a name that she has given her is Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta however, her roots lie located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue an interest in music, performing and singing at the church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single that featured her vocals,"Stalk You a House 12 came out only in Japan. The song has been remixed many times, and is the mainstay of her live shows. Additionally, she was a part of The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. She was the main piano player for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls production during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was recognized nationally for her daily shows during 2008's Democratic National Convention. She was later invited to sing in the Obama administration's 2009 inauguration.
